Students in grades 6-8 are required to read novels of their own choosing approximately once a trimester and create reports which summarize these novels. Each book chosen must be middle school reading level and appropriate in content. Students may not choose books that have been turned into movies. Students must have their books checked by their parents as well as by Mrs. Leciejewski to be sure that they are appropriate. Students are encouraged, but not required, to choose different genres of books each month as well as varying styles of reports.
