When is the trip to Valleyfair?

• This year we will be going to Valleyfair on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

What time do they leave in the morning?

• We try to leave as soon as school starts at 9:00, but sometimes the bus can't get to us until 9:30 because it needs to finish its school route.

When do the 8th graders get back from Valleyfair?

• We get picked up at 5:00 P.M. from Valleyfair.  We are usually back to school by 5:45 P.M. depending on traffic.

What happens if it rains?

• We still go. Students should be prepared for the weather. It's a good idea to bring layers.

What if my child has to leave early that day?

• If your child should have to leave the field trip early, like on any other school day, a parent needs to send a note to the office stating that you will be coming to pick your child up, and then you will need to pick your child up in person.  A chaperone will bring your child to the main entrance at the given time and deliver him or her to you. For safety purposes, we can't send a child to the parking lot by themselves or send them with anyone but their guardian. Please make these arrangements ahead of time, so that chaperones can plan appropriately.

What is the cost?

• The cost varies per year depending on how much money we raise. The Halloween Party proceeds help to offset costs for this trip for the kids. We try to keep the costs as low as we can.
